Maggie Whitley is a local author who has written 9 books (so far). 5 of these are books for older children/young teens; the others are for adults. All of her books, whatever the age of those who read them, have the same characteristics - they are funny, quirky, with unexpected twists and turns, and larger-than-life characters. Maggie's books will make you laugh, cry and always leave you wanting more.
Maggie will be focusing on children’s books at this event, giving children the opportunity to ask questions to an author in person. The event is suitable for children with a reading age of 8 – 11.
The book reading will be held on Saturday 3rd December, 10am at Pocklington Arts Centre. Tickets can be reserved via the website at
