We would like to thank the Parish Council for their kind donation towards our School Website.

We are sure that our website will give people a window into the life at our school.

Our Year 6 children regularly visit Cranswick Lodge Care Home to share their favourite books and read to the residents.

Following our Art Project in school we donated our two winning pieces to Cranswick Lodge to display in the Care Home.

We enjoy our annual visit in December where we take a group of children to sing Christmas carols.

Our children enjoy Assemblies led by members of St Peter's Church and the Methodist Church.

We visit St Peter's Church in December for our Christmas Carol Service.

We work closely with the Friends of the School who organise various events for the children to across across the course of a school year.  This includes Halloween and World Book Day discos, annual Summer Fair, visits to watch live pantomimes at Foreman's Garage. The FOTS also arrange many village events to raise money for the school including the Village Wide Car Boot Sale, craft fairs and bingo nights at Foreman's Garage. We are really grateful to the FOTS for all of the time and support they give the school and the money they raise. All funds raised go back into the school and are spent on things that enhance and improve the school experience for children in our school.  We have used the funds in the past to buy ipads, books, outdoor learning equipment, large beanbags amongst many other things.

Our children design the front covers for the village Bulletin which is delivered monthly to the community. Ben Forgham visits our school annually to present awards to the children of the chosen front covers which are to be published. We also send writing to be published regularly in the village Bulletin.

We have strong links with all preschool providers to ensure a seamless transition from preschool to primary school. We visit the local preschool and preschools in the surrounding areas which we have children joining our school from. In addition to these visits we invite the preschools in to visit our school and enable the children to come and see their next setting. We communicate regularly with preschools and discuss the curriculum links and progressing from their setting to ours.
